About Us
The Ignite Church is an Indian Telugu Church in Houston which is a community of Christ-followers from diverse linguistic, geographic, racial and cultural backgrounds, predominantly Telugu speaking and Indian descent living in the city of Houston. The primary focus is on reaching out to the South Asian population in the city with the gospel. EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO THIS CHURCH! We are a gospel-centred church that seeks to build a Christ-community for the city of Houston, by the word and Sacrament. Ignite Church is kids, Youth, and adult friendly. Our worship is predominantly in the English language incorporating Telugu, and other South Asian language worship songs.
How can YOU be involved with Ignite Church Ministry?
We want you to consider being part of Ignite Church and Its ministry as God has greater things yet to be done in this city in and through all of us. We believe we could do this together through our commitment. Commitment towards three things 1) Time 2) Talent 3) Treasure
- Time: We strongly believe that every mission should flow out from the local church. At Ignite church as we take part in different ministries, we believe they flow out of our faith and fellowship. Sunday worship services take our priority in this regard. We ask that you COMMIT to attend and take active participation in the Sunday worship service every week and/or at least by weekly or once a month if you live far away
- Talent: God blesses each of us with different gifts and talents for His church. We at Ignite Church encourage you to use your talents by involving in different ministries like music, singing, kids ministry, hosting a bible study at your place, etc.
- Treasure: Every blessing is from God alone including our treasure like money. The Bible teaches us to be generous givers to His mission. You can be involved with Ignite Church ministry through your commitment to give generously for its mission. We are in negative numbers currently in our income through weekly offerings, we pray that God would enable us give generously through commitments to give weekly/monthly/ yearly.
